Mitochondrial injection promotes the expression of regeneration associated genes (RAGs) in dorsal root ganglions (DRGs). RNA sequencing and qPCR assays were performed on DRGs among Sham group, sciatic nerve injury (SNI) group and SNI with mitochrondria injection therapy (SNI + Mito) gruop. (A) Volcano plot of RNA sequencing. A total of 1221 genes were up-regulated and 630 genes were down-regulated in the SNI group compared with the sham group (left), 777 genes were up-regulated and 440 genes were down-regulated in the SNI + Mito group compared with SNI group (right).
