The combination of ATRA and Sorafenib most effectively inhibited cell line-derived xenografted tumor growth. HCC xenografted tumours were treated with ATRA and Sorafenib either alone or in combination as described in the materials and methods. A tumour image (A), and the tumour volumes (B) and weights (C) were presented. Tumour cell proliferation (D) was measured by the expression of PCNA in the xenografts as determined by IHC.
