Myofiber TGF-β signaling mediates macrophages IL-10-Vav1-Rac1 efferocytosis signaling. FACS analysis of the expression of Rac1-GTP (A), IL-10 and Bcl3 (C), p-STAT3 and Vav1 (D) in macrophages sorted from inflamed muscle. mRNA levels of IL-10, IL-4 and TGF-β in sorted macrophages were analyzed by qRT-PCR (B).
