Representative expression of PPL, EVPL and PLEC by immunohistochemistry staining on FFPE tumour xenografts described previously [177]. Animal experiment was performed in accordance with the recommendations in the Guide for the Care and Use of the Laboratory Animals of the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia. The experimental protocol was approved by the University of Melbourne’s Animal Ethics Committee (Project-1413207.1). Quantification of immunohistochemical staining was performed as described previously [177]. Data is presented as mean ± SEM (n = 3 control mice, n = 3 xenografts from mice treated with paclitaxel, groups 1 and 2). Magnification 20×, scale bar = 100 μm. Significance is indicated by ***p < 0.001; ****p < 0.0001
