A Porcupine inhibitor, Wnt-C59, produces a loss of contacts with other types of cells in culture. A Sister cultures of hippocampal neurons were used to quantify the contact of neurons with other cell types, without specifying the cell type; these contacts of neuronal processes decrease by half, depending also on the concentration of the inhibitor.
