The cholesterol-interfering drug filipin facilitates ErbB2 internalization. a, b and c, ErbB2-positive SKBR3, AU565, and HCC1954 cells were cultured on glass coverslips and treated with filipin (3 μg/ml) with or without oleic acid (OA, 200 nM) for 12 h. ErbB2 location was examined by immunofluorescence. DAPI stains the nucleus. Images were captured using a fluorescent microscope (Olympus BX63, 40X objective).
