Nfatc1 rescues the inhibitory effects of zinc during osteoclastogenesis in RAW264.7 cells. (A, B) After electroporation with the mock (A, left panel) and constitutively active form of Nfatc1 (B, right panel), RAW264.7 cells were cultured for 4 days with RANKL (35 ng/ml) in the absence or presence of ZnSO4 (100 μM) (n=3). Osteoclast formation was visualized using TRAP staining in panel A. TRAP activity is shown in panel B.
