Fhit interacts directly with activated Gα 16 . A, Purified GST-Fhit and His-Gα16 were analyzed by Coomassie blue staining. B, Equal amounts (2 μg each) of purified GST or GST-Fhit was incubated with either GDPβS-bound or GTPγS-bound His-Gα16 at 4°C for 30 min. The mixture was then subjected to GST pull-down assay with glutathione Sepharose beads. The input and GST pull down samples were analyzed by Western blot.
