LPS up-regulated RhoA activity and ROCK expression in a concentration- and time-dependent manner. A549 and HPAEpiC cells were treated with LPS for 3 h at concentrations of 0 µg/mL, 0.1 µg/mL, 1 µg/mL, and 10 µg/mL, respectively. The activity of GTP-RhoA was evaluated by RhoA activity assays (a, b) and the expression of ROCK1 protein was examined by western blotting (c, d). A549 and HPAEpiC cells were treated with LPS (1 µg/mL) for 0 h, 0.5 h, 1 h, 3 h, 6 h and 12 h, respectively. The activity of GTP-RhoA was evaluated by RhoA activity assays (e, f) and the expression of ROCK1 protein was examined by western blotting (g, h). Data are expressed as means ± SD of triplicate samples. *p < 0.05 versus 0 µg/mL group
