EGF-induced calcium release in MDA-NEO and MDA-HER2 breast cancer cells is significantly blocked by the PLD inhibitor FIPI. MDA-NEO cells (a) and MDA-HER2 cells (b) were treated with 100 ng/ml EGF, 10 µM U73122, 10 µM edelfosine and appropriate combinations. For FIPI experiments, cells were pretreated with 100 nM FIPI as indicated. The results are presented as the mean ± S.E.M. of at least three to four independent experiments. Statistical analysis: one-way ANOVA and Tukey’s post hoc test: * = p < 0.05, ** = p < 0.01, *** = p < 0.001, **** = p < 0.0001
