Effects of temperature on the growth of H. pylori. Tested strains were: N6 wt, ∆htrA, complemented strains with wt htrA (∆htrA/htrA) and with proteolytically inactive variant of htrA (∆htrA/htrAS/A). Serial dilutions of bacterial cultures were spotted onto GC agar plates and bacterial growth at three temperatures was assessed after 6 days of incubation on GC agar plates. The experiments were performed in triplicates and representative examples are shown
