Effects of LY294002 and PTEN siRNA on apoptosis in colon cancer cells. Colon cancer cells were treated with PI3K inhibitor (LY294002), PTEN siRNA, or control siRNA and incubated for 24 h, followed by detection of apoptosis using the CaspACE™ Assay System, with absorbance being measured in the wells at 405 nm. Statistical significance was tested by one-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett test. The p-values indicate statistical significance between control and experimental data sets.
