Minocycline impairs the TNF-α-induced activation of IKK-IκBα signalling. Cells were stimulated with or without TNF-α (100 ng/ml) and minocycline (20 μM) for 72 h to analyse the phosphorylation of (a) IKKα/β and (b) IκBα by western blotting. Relative native and phosphorylated protein levels were normalised to the level of housekeeping gene expression and in relation to control, which was set to 1. Representative data from at least three independent experiments are shown. Statistical analysis: ANOVA F-test and Scheffé post hoc test: * = p < 0.05; ** = p < 0.01; *** = p < 0.001
