The FOXM1 regulatory network of lung cancer. Numerous oncogenic stimuli that initiate different signaling cascades ultimately contribute to a common program targeting FOXM1 transcription factor activity in lung tumor cells. FOXM1 transcriptional factor triggers various genes involved in many biological process, consequently facilitating tumor cells proliferation, DNA repair, invasion and metastasis, stemness and drug resistance, which altogether contribute to the development of lung cancer
