eNOS knockdown induced changes in endothelial monolayer resistance: a HMVECs were exposed to siRNA for 72 h (siControl or sieNOS) and then treated with Poly I:C (10 μg/mL). Trans-endothelial electrical resistance (TEER) was determined by measuring resistance across the monolayer at 1 h intervals for a total of 24 h across the respective groups and normalized to the resistance 1 h prior to agonist treatment. b Total area under the curve (AUC) for changes in resistance.
