Severe deficiency of jumu leads to the activation of the Toll pathway. a-h Immunostaining against Dorsal (green) and Dif (green) shows that Dorsal/Dif are undetectable in the nuclei of control circulating hemocytes (a, c) and the fat body (e, g).
