KL negatively correlated with HIF1α in CRC patients. To support the correlation obtained from in vitro assays, we first examined the mRNA of KL and HIF1α, and observed no significant correlation between KL and HIF1α (a). Then, we performed IHC staining in CRC patients, and observed a negative correlation between KL and HIF1α in protein level (b).
