TGFBR2-dependent exosomal proteome profile. Numbers refer to exosomal proteins that comprise the total proteome (n = 1453) or define distinct protein subsets, whose expression is either shared by (n = 1089) or restricted to exosomes released by TGFBR2-deficient (n = 167) or TGFBR2-proficient (n = 197) donor cells. From these two latter proteomes two highly specific protein subsets emerged based on more stringent expression criteria (expression in at least three of four biological replicates, see Methods).
