(A) Immunoprecipitation was performed with anti-Chk1 ab (Santacruz) and immunoblotted for BAK (top panel) and Chk1 (bottom panel). Similar immunoprecipitations were performed with anti-Chk1 ab and immunoblotted for PUMA (B) and Bcl-xL (C). In all immunoprecipitation reactions 5% of mitochondrial extracts was used as input. The non-UV mitochondrial extract was used in all IgG control immunoprecipitation reactions.
