UROtsa cells incubated for 30 min with the selective β-AR agonist isoproterenol generated increasing amounts of cAMP in a concentration-dependent manner. From these data the concentration of isoproterenol that generated a half-maximal response (EC50) was calculated using non-linear regression analysis. The EC50 value (ϒ) of isoproterenol to increase cAMP in UROtsa cells was calculated to be 170 ± 66 nM and is presented as the mean ± S.E. for n = 4 experiments performed in duplicate.Back to article page
