Pre-treatment of HIMEC with 0.1 μM of CsA prevented NFATp translocation to the nucleus in VEGF stimulated cells, as shown by Western blot analysis of nuclear extracts. Proinflammatory activation of HIMEC using combination TNF-α/LPS did not result in a nuclear translocation of NFATp.
