  1. About 5x105 U937 cells, pMTH1-U937 and asCD11b-U937 cells were incubated in the absence or presence of 5nM TPA for up to 72 h, respectively. At the time points indicated aliquots from the cell supernatants were applied to a Mip-1α ELISA. The results are expressed as ng Mip-1α/ml with a detection limit below 6 pg/ml (n.d. = not detectable (below detection limit)). Data represent the mean ± s.d. of one experiment performed in triplicate.
